Principal's Message

Dear Castle Park Middle School Families and Students,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! On behalf of our entire staff, I am thrilled to welcome both our returning and new Knights to Castle Park Middle School. We are excited to begin another year of learning, growth, and success together. As Principal, it is a privilege to serve a school community that is committed to ensuring every student feels supported, challenged, connected, and inspired to reach their full potential.

At Castle Park Middle School, we believe every student deserves to be seen, heard, and valued. Our goal is to provide a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We are committed to helping every Knight develop the skills, confidence, and character needed for success in high school and beyond.

This year, we continue our work as a Community School, strengthening partnerships with families and community organizations to provide valuable resources and opportunities for our students. We are also excited to continue our journey as an International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme Candidate School. Through the IB framework, our students are encouraged to become inquisitive learners, critical thinkers, effective communicators, and compassionate global citizens.

We are also proud to share that Castle Park Middle School has once again earned Silver Recognition through the Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program. This recognition reflects our commitment to fostering a school culture built on respect, responsibility, and safety, ensuring that every student feels welcomed and supported each day.

Your partnership is essential to your child's success. One of the most important factors in student achievement is regular attendance. With only 180 days in the school year, every day matters. By working together to ensure students arrive at school on time and ready to learn, we can maximize opportunities for growth and achievement.

Thank you for entrusting us with your child's education. We look forward to partnering with you and making the 2026–2027 school year a memorable, successful, and rewarding experience for every Knight.  Together, we will make this a great year!

Sincerely,

Nina Hermosillo
